There were five new cases of Covid-19 in Meghalaya today along with three recoveries and no fatalities.
East Khasi Hills accounted for four new cases and West Garo Hills one.
Two recoveries were accounted in West Garo Hills and one in Ri-Bhoi.
There are now 55 active Covid-19 cases in the state – East Khasi Hills 19, West Garo Hills 16, Ri Bhoi 11, East Garo Hills four, South West Garo Hills three and West Jaiñtia Hills two.
In all, Meghalaya has had 96,656 Covid-19 cases, out of which 94,979 have recovered and 1,622 have died from the virus. There are 11 patients being treated in hospital with the disease – six in East Khasi Hills, three in Ri-Bhoi and two in West Garo Hills.
