There were 12 new cases of Covid-19 in Meghalaya today along with eight recoveries and no fatalities.
East Garo Hills accounted for three new cases, East Khasi Hills three, Ri-Bhoi four and West Garo Hills two.

There are now 45 active Covid-19 cases in the state – East Garo Hills three, East Jaiñtia Hills zero, East Khasi Hills 13, Eastern West Khasi Hills zero, North Garo Hills zero, Ri-Bhoi eight, South Garo Hills zero, South West Garo Hills two, South West Khasi Hills one, West Garo Hills 17, West Jaiñtia Hills one and West Khasi Hills zero.
In all, Meghalaya has had 96,627 Covid-19 cases, out of which 94,960 have recovered and 1,622 have died from the virus. There are seven patients being treated in hospital with the disease – three in East Khasi Hills, three in Ri-Bhoi and one in West Garo Hills.
