Despite speculations that he may contest from two constituencies in the upcoming Assembly elections, Chief Minister Conrad Sangma has made up his mind to stick to South Tura seat.
The list of 58 candidates released by NPP today at Polo Ground here has the names of Sangma as its contender from South Tura.
However, the NPP has decided not to field candidates against UDP president and Assembly Speaker Metbah Lyngdoh in Mairang.
The party also did not put up a candidate against cabinet minister and BJP leader Sanbor Shullai from South Shillong.
