Celebrating India’s G20 Presidency, Akashvani Shillong in collaboration with St. Anthony’s College, Shillong organised a conclave today.
Topics on ‘Local relevance & importance of G20’ and ‘Up-skilling the youths for better prospects’ was discussed at the conclave, which was attended by Wankit Kupar Swer, General Manager, Meghalaya Basin Development Authority, Mark Laitphlang, Founder & CEO, Avenues Shillong and Jacqueline Audrey Swer from PRIME start-up Hub, Meghalaya as panellists.
Students also participated and interacted in during the programme.
The keynote address was delivered by Rector of St. Anthony’s College Dr. Father A. L. Jose, wherein he stressed on the significance of India’s G20 Presidency’s theme – One Earth, One Family, One Future, which he opined is a message that binds us from within.
A cultural programme and an open quiz were also conducted for the students.
