Child Friendly Shillong, a project under Bosco Integrated Development Society (BIDS) launched their annual campaign yesterday.
The campaign is ‘Who Can Protect Me? I and We…’ and the theme is ‘Strengthening Safe Environment for Children’. The campaign is being organised in collaboration with the CSF (Civil Society Forum for children).
Matti Warjri of the District Child Protection Unit and Deputy Superintendent of Police Sandra Nongdhar were the chief guests of the day. Teachers, principals and students from different schools and headmen from different villages attended the launch.
