The Central Agricultural University (CAU) Imphal secured the top honour by winning first position for the best stall at the golden jubilee celebration and farmers’ expo, held on January 9-10 at ICAR-RC for NEH Region, Umiam.
The award was received by CAU Vice-Chancellor Anupam Mishra, who appreciated the dedication and hard work of the university’s faculty, scientists, staff and students in achieving this feat.
Mishra was the chief guest at the valedictory function of the ICAR facility’s golden jubilee celebration. He commended the centre’s contributions to innovative research, sustainable farming practices and the upliftment of rural livelihoods.
