The College of Community Science in Tura observed International Youth Day on the theme ‘From Clicks to Progress: Youth Digital Pathways for Sustainable Development’.
Sunildro LS Akoijam, Associate Professor in the Department of Management at NEHU Tura, delivered a lecture on ‘Youth Entrepreneurship in the Digital Age: Building Sustainable Startups,’ urging students to use technology productively for societal progress and sustainable development, noting that meaningful change begins when individuals take the initiative.
He highlighted the importance of entrepreneurship among youth, highlighting innovation, risk-taking and decision-making are essential entrepreneurial functions, particularly among the youth, who possess most of the skills necessary to become successful entrepreneurs.
The Dean while appreciating the organizers Kh R Aimol, HOD, Dept of HDFS and Victoria Devi, SWO, for conducting Anti-Ragging Day explained the purpose of International Youth Day celebration, highlighting India’s young population and the importance of youth-driven innovation for the nation’s progress.
