The ICAR-Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK), West Garo Hills celebrated Kisan Diwas or National farmers’ day at Marapara to honour the contribution of farmers to the nation.
The event featured interactive sessions on sustainable farming practices, demonstrations of modern agricultural technologies, and discussions on innovative techniques to enhance productivity by KVK expert Dr. Tarun Kumar Das, Dr. Arunkumar Singh and Ramawater Yadav.
The program was attended by 22 farmers, who were felicitated for their outstanding achievements, inspiring others in the community.
The program also included field visits and expert talks, emphasising the importance of empowering farmers to meet future challenges.
