Five Bangladeshi illegal migrants and two Indian facilitators were detained by the Border Security Force’s 4th Battalion near Pyrdiwah in East Khasi Hills yesterday.
Acting on specific inputs, BSF personnel apprehended the seven while they were travelling in Indian territory in a taxi.
All seven have been handed over to police in Pynursla for further legal action.
