Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) defeated the Border Security Force (BSF) at a friendly volleyball match by 3-1 held near BSF outpost in Baghmara, South Garo Hills today.
The ‘Maitree’ match was held to celebrate Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav to enhance the peaceful and friendly atmosphere between the two border guarding forces and to create a friendly environment amongst the border population living on both sides of the international border
Commandant of the 43 Bn BSF, Ratikant Thakur earlier welcomed the 20 member delegation from BGB led by Lt Col ASM Zakariya, Commanding Officer 31 BGB.
