BBS College defeated St. Anthony’s College, Shillong by 23 runs to lift the champion trophy in the finals of the NEHU Inter College Cricket (Men) Tournament 2023.
After winning the toss, St. Anthony’s College opted to ball first. Batting first, the BBS College put a score of 164 run on the board in 20 over after losing 9 wickets.
Chasing the target of 165, St. Anthony’s College was able to score 141 run in 20 over after losing 7 wickets.
Pawan Kumar of the BBS College got the Man of the Final Match title and Rohit Yadav of St. Anthony’s College Man of the Tournament.
The prize presentation ceremony was attended by Prof. K. Debberma, Dean, School of Social Science, NEHU, N. Das, Asst. Director (PE & Sports), NEHU cum Organizing Secretary and Principal of BBS College.
