The A’chik Holistic Awakening Movement (AHAM) organised an awareness programme at Rangsakona Higher Secondary School today in collaboration with the Rangsakona Mother’s Union.
The programme tackled the subjects of early marriage, human trafficking, mental health, the pros and cons of mobile phones, social media and drug abuse.
Local MLA Zenith Sangma was the chief guest and South West Garo Hills Additional Deputy Commissioner AVD Shira the guest of honour.
Around 700 children from Rangsakona HSS and other schools took part in the awareness programme.
