The Assistant Commissioner, South West Khasi Hills District has informed that applications for admission into the All-India Services Pre-Examination Training Centre are invited from candidates both male and female, belonging to the Scheduled Tribes, Scheduled Castes, and OBCs of Meghalaya.
Candidates whose parents are safaiwallas who are eligible to appear at the UPSC Civil Services (Qualifying) Examination2025 and Civil Services Mains (Written) Examination 2024 are eligible for admission into the Centre.
The coaching will be imparted in English. Candidates who are over 21 years of age and passed the degree examination with a minimum of 50 per cent average marks in aggregate can apply.
Those who have undergone training, at least once in any of the Pre-Examination Training centre in the Country and who intend to apply for the UPSC Civil Services Preliminary Examination, 2025 o rhave appeared once in the CS Prelims Examinations or any fresh applicants will be eligible for consideration for enrolment into the Centre for Coaching.
The applicants should apply to the Union Public Services Commission (UPSC) for admission into the CS Prelims Examination 2025 within the time frame fixed by the UPSC.
Eligible Candidates can avail hostel facilities and food will be provided by the centre free of cost on first come first serve basis up to a maximum of 75 seats.
The last date for receipt of application in the prescribed form is on June 17, 2024.
The capacity of selected candidates is 125. Applications are made available in the MATI’s website (mati.gov.in).
Documents may be furnished later as and when required by the office. An online entrance test may be conducted depending on the number of applicants.
The list of candidates will be available from the office at Establishment Room, MATI Campus, Mawdiangdiang on July 19 and in www mati.gov.in.
Classes will start from July 29 and the duration of the course is till CSE Prelims 2025.
