Army Boys Sports Company, MEG & Centre, Bangalore, will organise an induction rally from January 20 to 23 for the selection of outstanding young boys in boxing, hockey, sailing and swimming.
The rally will be conducted at Kendriya Vidyalaya MEG & Centre, Sports Ground Bangalore from 6am to 5pm.
Boys in the age group of 8 years and 1 day to 14 years (born between January 20, 2011 and January 20, 2017), should produce sports certificates in any of the above sports disciplines. Boys in the age group of 14 years and 1 day to 16 years (born between January 20, 2009 and January 19, 2011) should be medalists in national or international competitions recognised by the national federations of boxing/hockey/sailing/swimming within two years as on the date of induction rally. The minimum educational qualification for boys between 8-14 years is Class 3 passed while for boys between 14-16 years is Class 8/9 passed.
