      Army Public School, Shillong students pulled off an exceptional performance in the Class X and XII results declared by the Central Board of School Examination (CBSE).

      In Class X, out of 100 students who appeared for the examination, 24 students scored 90 per cent and above marks in aggregate, whereas in class XII, 33 students out of 164 students scored 90 per cent and above marks in aggregate.

      The School Administration and Managing Committee, Principal, Vice Principal and staff of the school have congratulated the students acknowledged and appreciated the efforts of students for the school’s success.

      Tanuska Chakraborty secured the first position in the school by scoring an impressive aggregate of 97.6 per cent marks in the Class X results. She scored 100 out of 100 marks in English Language & Literature. Trishla Singh secured the second position by scoring a remarkable aggregate of 97 per cent marks and scored 100 out of 100 in Science. Karishma Khatri secured the third position with 96.6 per cent marks in aggregate and scored 100 out of 100 in Standard Mathematics.

      In Class XII Science stream results, Sainava Modak topped by scoring 97 per cent marks with 100 out of 100 in Chemistry and Computer Science. The second position holder was Siddhant Purkayastha with a score of 96.6 per cent and Debasmita Chakraborty secured the third position with 96.2 per cent marks in aggregate and scored 100 out of 100 in Computer Science.

      In Humanities, Shorashi Chokhani topped scoring 96.2 per cent with 100 out of 100 marks in Geography. Gauri Bhardwaj secured the second position scoring 94.4 per cent marks in aggregate and Kimboi Hauzel secured the third position with 93.2 per cent.

      In the Commerce stream, Pragya Sharma topped scoring 93.4 per cent, Pranav Sharma secured the second position with a score of 92.8 per cent marks and Debasree Dhar secured the third position with 92.4 per cent.

      Many students also brought laurels to the school by scoring hundred per cent in their respective subjects. The top scorers are Divyendu Kashyap in Chemistry, Kelly Sharonia Langstieh in Biology while Shubhangi Singh of Class X scored 100 in Science and Rikynti Kharkongor scored the hundred marks in English Language and Literature.
