The Indian Army has announced changes in the recruitment process of Agniveers, Junior Commissioned Officers (JCOs) and other ranks (ORs).
All candidates in stage one have to register and apply online at joinindianarmy.nic.in for the common entrance exam.
In stage two, shortlisted candidates will be invited for a recruitment rally at various locations where they will undergo physical fitness tests and physical measurements tests. Medical tests will take place during stage three.
Online registration on the Join Indian Army website opened on February 16 and will close on March 15. Candidates can register with either their Aadhaar card or Class 10 school certificate.
The online common entrance exam will be conducted at 176 locations across India and candidates can choose five preferred exam locations and will be assigned one of these. The online exam fee is Rs 500 per candidate, with half of the cost to be borne by the army, leaving Rs 250 plus any bank charges to be paid by the applicant.
Admit cards will be available on the Join Indian Army website 10 to 14 days prior to the commencement of the exam.
