Akashvani Shillong celebrated Hindi Diwas marking the commencement of the Hindi fortnight 2023 at its premises recently.
Officers and officials of Akashvani Shillong, North Eastern Service, and other associate offices under the cluster took part in the celebration, which featured a variety of competitions.
Head of Office (Cluster Head) of Akashvani Shillong, H. Diengdoh during his speech, emphasized that one should love their own Mother Tongue and to respect other languages.
Head of Programme R. M. L. Marbaniang and News Editor, Paritosh Dikshit also shared their views and stressed on the implementation of Hindi in day-to-day official work.
