Shillong, Aug 2: Synod College, Shillong celebrated the graduation of the 2022-2025 Batch. It was a momentous occasion that is also part of the 60th year journey of the college.
Sports and Youth Affairs Minister Shakliar Warjri attended the ceremony held on July 31, as the chief guest. He congratulated the students on completing an important milestone in their life and apprised them of the upcoming reality of post-college life. He advised them to set goals and to motivate themselves to pursue their passion, as life without goals is meaningless. He urged them to uphold their skills, and remind them of the various opportunities that the government provides in terms of skill enhancement and entrepreneurship
Special awards were given to students who were on the North Eastern Hill University merit list, among them Manuel L. Rynghang was awarded the Primrose Gatphoh Memorial Award for securing first position, BCA Honours.
Others present at the ceremony were President of the Governing Body, Synod College, Principal, Vice Principal, the IQAC coordinator, parents, the teaching faculty and the non-teaching staff.
