Nehru Yuva Kendra, Shillong in association with Metallica-Sargam Sports and Cultural Club observed the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabbhai Patel and National Unity Day yesterday at St Nanak Secondary School, Pynthorumkhrah, here along with rest of the country.
Various programmes were organised, among them pledge taking, painting competition, slogan writing and a Fit Bharat Swachhata Run, among others.
