Two children drowned while swimming in Kdong Umkhangrah river today.
The incident occurred at round 11 am when six children had gone to the river located near the Haven’s Cove resort in West Jaintia Hills district.
The deceased both from Mookyrdup village, have been identified as Mebanbankynsai Suchiang (12) son of Risamaia Suchiang and Joshwa Lyngdoh and Miki Ryngkhlem (9) son of Baphinsuk Law.
