For the third time, unpaid employees of the Jaiñtia Hills Autonomous District Council (JHADC) stopped work and demonstrated outside the office to protest against the delay in payment of salaries.
The employees under the Jaiñtia Hills Autonomous District Council Staff Association (JHADCSA) have also decided to extend their protest till November 22.
President of the association Johnson Pohrmen said the district council should clear their pending dues by this month. With the holiday season around the corner, the the staff fear the worst if their dues are not paid.
