The Deputy Commissioner of East Khasi Hills has appealed to Megha Health Insurance Scheme (MHIS) cardholders to link their account with their Aadhaar.
MHIS coverage has recently been increased to Rs 5.3 lakh but those who have not linked Aadhaar to MHIS are in danger of missing out on the insurance. It has been mandatory to link the two since February 2023, a press release stated. The link can be set up at any block office or PHC/CHC.
