East Jaiñtia Hills police arrested four persons and seized 51.03 kg of marijuana last night.
The persons identified as Amit Mog , Rajesh Kumar Keang, Sanjit Debarma and Babu Mog, all from Tripura were transporting the illegal contraband in a car bearing registration no TR04 A 0254 when they were stopped by police team at Umtyra.
Police said they were coming from Umkiang and proceeding towards Khliehriat. Five mobile phone and cash Rs 13, 540 were also seized.
