A two day national workshop in preparation to the G20 Janbhagidari Events on the implementation of the NEP 2020 with special emphasis on the foundational literacy and numeracy under NIPUN–Meghalaya was inaugurated at Sankardev College today.
The programme is sponsored by the Directorate of Elementary and School Literacy and organised by the IQAC & Departments of History and English of the college in collaboration with Samagra SHIKSHA Abhiyan-State Education Mission Authority of Meghalaya.
The aim of the workshop was to create a forum of key stakeholders to discuss the various challenges and opportunities on the implementation of NEP 2020 at the foundational stage.

Cabinet Minister Paul Lyngdoh attended the workshop as the chief guest in the presence of Sankardev College Principal Dr. Eureka FP Lyngdoh, principals of various colleges and schools from all districts of the state.
