Two budding young football players from West Jaintia Hills have been selected to be part of Indian Super League club Bengaluru FC’s youth teams.
The two are Avidrian Samwan Lato and Givenson Ryngkhlem.
They are both products of Power Soccer Academy, which is based out of Mynthong in Jowai. The academy was formed in 2021.
Ten Meghalayan children had been chosen by Bengaluru for trials from which these two were selected to join the club, Power Soccer Academy informed yesterday.
