Consuming homes and dreams, casting away the light.
The crackling fire devours what once stood strong,
Leaving scars upon the land, where harmony belonged.
Senseless killings mar the land with crimson stain,
Innocent lives shattered, their cries, a mournful refrain.
Hearts torn asunder by violence’s relentless grip,
Leaving families shattered, their spirits left adrift.
Demolished are the sanctuaries, the temples of solace,
Where prayers whispered softly in peacefulness and grace.
Their sacred walls reduced to rubble, the faithful left bereft,
As darkness claims the sacred, a wound that won’t be left.
Yet amidst the suffering, a spirit still prevails,
A resilience unyielding, a hope that never fails.
In the hearts of Manipur, a fire yet burns,
For justice, for peace, a fervent desire returns.
Let us lend our voices to the silenced cries,
