As part of its year-long golden jubilee celebrations, Seng Khasi College organised the Inter-College Dancing Competition here today.
The event witnessed the participation of 13 institutes—St Anthony’s College, St. Edmund’s College, St. Mary’s College, Shillong Commerce College, Shillong College, B.B.S College, M.L.C.U, Nabon Women’s Synod College, Mawlai Presbyterian College, Umshyrpi College, Women’s College, Lady Keane College and Seng Khasi College.
The chief guest on the occasion was F.M Shabong, Principal of Seng Khasi Higher Secondary School. The competition was also graced by the Principal of the College, W.B Rynjah.
In the Solo Category, Rashmi Hrangkhawl of St. Anthony’s College bagged first prize, with the second place going to Shruti Chettri of BBS College while Darshana Das of St. Edmund’s College took home the third prize.
In the Group Category, St. Edmund’s College emerged champions, with St. Anthony’s College and St. Mary’s College in the second and third place respectively.
