Meghalaya TMC leader George B Lyngdoh today stated that remaining Congress leaders would soon quit making the TMC the only viable alternative in the State to oppose BJP.
Speaking at a function to inaugurate the new TMC office in Umsning, Lyngdoh said, “Only 5 Congress leaders remain in the party, while all others have already quit. The remaining leaders will also jump ship soon.”
Lyngdoh one amongst the 12 Congress legislators out of 17 who left the party last year, stated that the TMC is the only credible alternative to oppose BJP.

Encouraging the party workers to work hard towards fulfilling the vision of the party, Lyngdoh said, “We need to give our full efforts and work hard for the next month, and I will extend my unwavering support towards your endeavour.”
