The office of the East Khasi Hills Deputy Commissioner in collaboration with the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) today organised an electoral outreach programme dubbed Mission UNITED 2.0 (U&I Towards Enrolment) to shake off urban apathy when it comes to elections.
The programme was held at Nongmensong Langkyrding, 14-Pynthorumkhrah (GEN) Constituency to engage with the community leadership and organizations in creating electoral awareness and push enrolment drive among the citizens who have reached the voter’s age, especially in pockets where the enrolment gap is huge as a result of urban apathy.
