There were nine new cases of Covid-19 in Meghalaya today along with seven recoveries and no fatalities.
East Khasi Hills accounted for one new case, Ri-Bhoi four, South West Garo Hills one and West Garo Hills three.
East Khasi Hills accounted for two recoveries, Ri-Bhoi one and West Garo Hills four.
There are now 47 active Covid-19 cases in the state – East Garo Hills three, East Jaiñtia Hills zero, East Khasi Hills 12, Eastern West Khasi Hills zero, North Garo Hills zero, Ri-Bhoi 11, South Garo Hills zero, South West Garo Hills three, South West Khasi Hills one, West Garo Hills 16, West Jaiñtia Hills one and West Khasi Hills zero.
In all, Meghalaya has had 96,636 Covid-19 cases, out of which 94,967 have recovered and 1,622 have died from the virus. There are eight patients being treated in hospital with the disease – four in East Khasi Hills, three in Ri-Bhoi and one in West Garo Hills.
