There were 101 new cases of Covid-19 recorded in Meghalaya today along with and 74 recoveries and no fatalities.
There were 42 new infections in West Garo Hills, 25 in East Khasi Hills, South Garo Hills 10, Ri Bhoi seven, South West Garo Hills six, West Jaiñtia Hills five, East Garo Hills four and East Jaiñtia Hills two.
Twenty-seven recoveries were in West Garo Hills, East Khasi Hills 21, Ri Bhoi eight, five each in South Garo Hills and South West Garo Hills, West Jaiñtia Hills four and one each in East Garo Hills, Eastern West Khasi Hills, North Garo Hills and West Khasi Hills.
There are now 724 active Covid-19 cases in the state – West Garo Hills 421, East Khasi Hills 118, South West Garo Hills 46, Ri Bhoi 39, South Garo Hills 31, West Jaiñtia Hills 26, East Jaiñtia Hills and North Garo Hills 13 each, East Garo Hills and Eastern West Khasi Hills six each and West Khasi Hills five.
In all, Meghalaya has had 95,386 Covid-19 cases, out of which 93,057 have recovered and 1,605 have died from the virus.
There are 46 patients being treated in hospital with the disease – 27 in East Khasi Hills, West Garo Hills nine, South Garo Hills five, West Jaiñtia Hills four and one in Ri Bhoi.
