There were 24 new cases of Covid-19 recorded in Meghalaya today, along with six recoveries and no fatalities.
There was one new infection in East Jaiñtia Hills, 12 in East Khasi Hills, two in Ri-Bhoi, eight in West Garo Hills and one in West Jaiñtia Hills.
Four recoveries were in East Khasi Hills, one in Ri-Bhoi and one in West Garo Hills.
There are now 100 active Covid-19 cases in the state – East Jaiñtia Hills one, East Khasi Hills 49, Ri-Bhoi 14, South West Garo Hills one, West Garo Hills 31 and West Jaiñtia Hills four.
In all, Meghalaya has had 94,117 Covid-19 cases, of which 100 are active, 92,422 have recovered and 1,595 have died from the virus. Eight patients are being treated in hospital with the disease – six in East Khasi Hills and two in Ri-Bhoi.
