There were 15 new cases of Covid-19 recorded in Meghalaya today, along with 16 recoveries and no fatalities.
There were 10 new infections in East Khasi Hills, two in Ri-Bhoi, one in South West Garo Hills and two in West Garo Hills.
Seven recoveries were in East Khasi Hills and nine in West Garo Hills.
There are now 98 active Covid-19 cases in the state – East Khasi Hills 61, Eastern West Khasi Hills one, Ri-Bhoi 11, West Garo Hills 22 and West Jaiñtia Hills two.
In all, Meghalaya has had 94,178 Covid-19 cases, 92,385 have recovered and 1,595 have died from the virus. Five patients are being treated in hospital with the disease – four in East Khasi Hills and one in Ri-Bhoi.
