Meghalaya recorded eight new cases of Covid-19 today as well as four recoveries and no fatalities.
East Khasi Hills recorded one new infection and West Garo Hills seven. The four recoveries were all in East Khasi Hills.
There are now 29 active Covid-19 cases in the state – East Khasi Hills six, Ri-Bhoi 13, West Garo Hills nine and West Jaintia Hills one.
In all, Meghalaya has had 93,905 Covid-19 cases, of which 29 are active, 92,282 have recovered and 1,594 have died from the virus.
