The Hill State People’s Democratic Party (HSPDP) has declared Primson Makdoh as its candidate to contest the Umsning seat in the 2023 Assembly elections.
The official announcement was made today at the party meeting held in Umsning, which was attended by HSPDP president, KP Pangniang and party workers.
Makdoh stated that the HSPDP is the only trusted and oldest regional party in the state, that is concerned about the welfare of the indigenous tribes.
He said as a person who had worked for the welfare of the people by joining a social organisation he wants to do more. “I decided to run the elections because by being in power, I can bring in a lot of changes for the people of Umsning and the State,” he stated.
HSPDP Ri Bhoi District president, P.B Sylliang, State General Secretary, Panbor Ryntathiang were also present at the meeting.
