Six new cases of Covid-19 were recorded in Meghalaya today, along with zero recoveries and no fatalities. This is the highest number of new cases in a single day in weeks.
Four new infections were in East Khasi Hills and two in Ri-Bhoi.
There are now 11 active Covid-19 cases in the state – six in East Khasi Hills and five in Ri-Bhoi.
In all, Meghalaya has had 93,838 Covid-19 cases, of which 11 are active, 92,234 have recovered and 1,593 have died from the virus.
