TMC leader, Dr Mukul Sangma has assured to fight corruption and communal forces in the State at a meeting held at his residence in Ampati to discuss important issues raised by people there.
The meeting was also organised to strengthen the party leadership at the grassroot level in the run up to the 2023 assembly elections.
The leader of opposition reassured the people about TMC’s stand in the State which he said will drive them away from apathy and lead them to a brighter future.
“TMC Meghalaya is committed to the people of Meghalaya and will continue to fight for the people of Meghalaya against corrupt and communal forces no matter what,” he stated.
District Coordinator Malangcourt Sangma, Vice President, Block Committee Hamay Koch, and President Block Committee Grace Sangma were also present at the meeting including assembly and district level TMC leaders, hundreds of people from Ampati Assembly constituency and South-West Garo Hills.
