There were two new cases of Covid-19 reported in the State today with five recoveries and no fatalities.
The new cases were detected in West Jaiñtia Hills and West Garo Hills. Recoveries were accounted from Ri Bhoi with two, South West Garo Hills two and one in East Garo Hills.
There are now 27 active Covid-19 cases in the state. East Khasi Hills alone accounts for seven active cases, East Jaiñtia Hills four, three each in Ri Bhoi, West Garo Hills, West Jaiñtia Hills and West Khasi Hills, East Garo Hills two and one each in South West Garo Hills and South West Khasi Hills.
In all, Meghalaya has had 93,761 Covid-19 cases, 92,141 have recovered and 1,593 have died from the virus.
