Meghalaya recorded three new Covid-19 infections as well as five recoveries and no fatalities today.
The new cases were recorded in East Garo Hills, Ri Bhoi and West Khasi Hills with one each.
Two recoveries were recorded in East Khasi Hills, one each in Ri Bhoi, North Garo Hills and West Jaiñtia Hills.
There are now 49 active Covid-19 cases in the state. East Khasi Hills alone accounts for 17 cases, West Khasi Hills seven, Ri Bhoi six, West Jaiñtia Hills six, East Jaiñtia Hills four, South West Garo Hills four, East Garo Hills two, West Garo Hills two and South West Khasi Hills one.
In all, Meghalaya has had 93,757 Covid-19 cases, 92,115 have recovered and 1,593 have died from the virus.
