The Indian Army, along with Rajya Sainik Board, Meghalaya, is organising an ex-servicemen rally on Tuesday at Assam Regimental Centre, Happy Valley, for veterans who have selflessly served Indian Defence Forces throughout their lives.
The rally will focus on addressing grievances of ex-servicemen along with provision of medical camp for the veterans.
It is customary for the defence forces to facilitate the brave hearts who have ensured freedom, peace and prosperity of the nation through their lifelong altruistic service. The rally will also be an attempt to enlighten the veterans about a number of welfare schemes provided by Indian Defence Forces and the central government.
