Mylliem constituency has benefitted Rs 6 crore for development related works dedicated to farmers from the soil department alone.
This was stated by MLA Hamletson Dohling yesterday. He said that the developmental works at Mylliem Them and Mylliem Lum include the construction of the dam, check-dam, bridges, and the irrigation system to the farmlands, etc.
He also announced that he has earmarked assistance to 400 farmers of the area from the soil department.
Informing that the expenditure for the construction of the Anganwadi Centre is Rs 8 lakh, he said that an estimated cost of Rs 67 lakh is for the construction of the retaining wall at Madan Ïing Syiem.
