One Abdul Halim Miya (38), of Umpling, Ri-Bhoi, passed away at Shillong Civil Hospital on January 4 after succumbing to injuries, police said today.
An inquest and other legal formalities were observed and the body was later subjected to an autopsy.
Police said the person fell from a building.
