The Border Security Force (BSF) under SHQ Tura of the Meghalaya frontier today celebrated the Vijay Diwas at Kilapara War Memorial in Dalu.
Alok Kumar Singh, Deputy Inspector General Tura Sector, SK Guleria Offg Commandant 100 Bn paid and BSF officials paid homage to the martyrs of 1971 Indo-Pak War by laying wreath.
A guard of honour was also presented. The BSF brass band displayed its skills in playing melodious music which was enjoyed and appreciated by one and all.
Meanwhile, the BSF yesterday started a pre-recruitment training camp at the border outpost in Mahendraganj with an aim to provide employment opportunities and prepare local youth to join CAPFs and armed forces.
