To let people experience the magic of Christmas, the Moolamylliang dorbar shnong in East Jaiñtia Hills will organise a ‘Lights Extravaganza’ in the village on December 18.
Cabinet minister, James Sangma will inaugurate the light display specially arranged by the dorbar shnong, which has now become famous for its bold and bright Christmas display.
The dorbar also said that a Christmas concert will also be held on December 23 with performance by the Revive Band and Sweet String Band.
It may be mentioned that Moolamylliang village has recovered from the ravages caused by rat-hole coal mining and turned picturesque with lush green grasses and beautiful alleys all with the efforts of the people there that would perhaps be another clean destination in Meghalaya.
