There were nine new cases of Covid-19 recorded in Meghalaya today, along with 11 recoveries and no fatalities.
In total, East Khasi Hills recorded eight new cases and East Garo Hills one.
East Khasi Hills also accounted for 10 recoveries and Ri-Bhoi one.
There are now 244 active Covid-19 cases in the state. East Khasi Hills alone accounts for 220 active cases, East Garo Hills six, Ri-Bhoi five, West Garo Hills four, East Jaintia Hills three, West Khasi Hills three, West Jaintia Hills two, South Garo Hills one, South West Garo Hills zero, South West Khasi Hills zero and North Garo Hills zero.
In all, Meghalaya has had 84,583 Covid-19 cases, of which 220 are active, 82,864 have recovered and 1,475 have died from the virus.
