There were 18 new cases of Covid-19 and 68 recoveries recorded in Meghalaya today. There were zero fatalities linked to the disease.
In total, East Khasi Hills recorded 15 new cases and one each in West and East Jaiñtia Hills districts and South Garo Hills district.
East Khasi Hills also accounted for 59 recoveries, with five in West Khasi Hills and four in West Jaiñtia Hills.
There are now 246 active Covid-19 cases in the state. East Khasi Hills alone accounts for 222 active cases, Ri Bhoi six, East Garo Hills five, West Garo Hills four, three each in West Khasi Hills and East Jaiñtia Hills, West Jaiñtia Hills two and one in South Garo Hills.
In all, Meghalaya has had 84,574 Covid-19 cases, of which 246 are active, 82,853 have recovered and 1,475 have died from the virus.
