The State has so far administered 16,03,236 doses of Covid-19 vaccines, health authorities informed.
According to health authorities, a total of 10, 81,090 have received their first dose and 5, 22,146 their second dose.
On Saturday, a total of 6025 persons were vaccinated, of which 5093 were between the ages of 18 to 44 and 804 were 45 above. Also 34 of these were health care workers and 94 were front line workers.
Meanwhile, on Saturday, the state recorded two more fatalities and 81 new infections.
Health authorities informed that both the deaths were recorded in East Khasi Hills district and one of them was not vaccinated.
With the latest figures, the state now has 1417 total deaths, 1223 total active cases and so far 79724 have recovered from the virus.
