The occupancy rate of Covid-19 beds in Shillong hospitals is 84 percent, far higher than the 72 percent all-Meghalaya figure.
Health Department data shows that there are now 985 such beds allocated for the treatment of Covid-19 patients (135 in intensive care units (ICUs) and 850 oxygen-supported beds). As of today 709 are occupied all over Meghalaya. In Shillong the figure is 601 occupied out of 719.
