Due to the detection of Covid-19 positive the East Khasi Hills district magistrate has declared the house of S. Roy, Harisabha, Laban and flat No. 9 (Second floor), P. M. Cottage, Laban East Road, house of Moonlight and Mina Chettri and Starly Wanniang at Lower Mawprem and in the compound of Bertimon Mairom, Lawmali Pyllun, Block-II.
The district magistrate has also lifted containment from houses of Tina Warjri of Khliehshnong, Malki, Mano Lyngdoh at Lawjynriew Rngi Rum, (Late) Minati Chakraborty, Laban Last Stop, near Purbasha Guest House, the residences of Dr. Syrpailang Kharlukhi at Dhankheti, Malki, Bernadino Mawkhiew at Chinapatty, Malki, house of June Dkhar in Lawjynriew, Rngi Neng, the first and second floor of the building of Dr A.K. Das, near Hope Clinic, Pine Mount Ridge, Laban and the house of Joginder Singh, tenant of Mohan Veer Kaur, AGYA Cottage, near Meghalaya Guardian Office, Lower Lachumiere, house of Roshan Ali, Altaf Hussain, Asmad Alam and Zalim Alam in Suleiman compound, Lumdiengjri, houses of Brina Mawrie, Adeline Kharkongor and Baiamonlang Khongwir at Pohktieh, Nongthymmai.
