Shillong, Jun 9: The Southwest Monsoon has advanced further into the remaining parts of the North East, including Meghalaya, Sikkim and some parts of sub-Himalayan West Bengal today, the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) informed.
The IMD has predicted moderate rain over most of the state in the coming day, with chances of thunderstorms, gusty winds and heavy rainfall at isolated places.
